Your application will be submitted. Only you and our moderators can see the application while it’s in the Apply Here forum. If the application disappears, that means we’ve moved it into our private officer forum for deliberation.

How long does it take?

It typically takes a week for all of the officers to review your application and for a decision to be made. Sometimes it takes longer depending on the availability of our officers. Rarely, if ever, does the wait have anything to do with you or your application. We like to give all officers an opportunity to weigh in.

Why the Application?

All well organized guilds (Christian and not), have an application process. With over 11 years of experience, we’ve found that the application process stops 99.9% of all griefers, spammers, and trolls.People who just want to cause trouble don’t want to go through the trouble of filling out even a short application. Those that do, often get caught in the moderation process by our officers.

Our number one concern is the safety of our members.

This is a video game, not a job!

It’s for this reason we have an application process. All of our officers are spending their free time to voluntarily lead our group. All of our members are entering into friendships, real relationships, with the people who come into our group.

We have a responsibility to lookout for our members and make sure those who wish to join our group have the right intentions.

It’s Worth It

Of those who have gone through the application process, very few (if any), have regretted it. Most people who originally opposed it, after seeing the stability and security it has given us, have changed their mind in favor of the application. We have an extremely low turn over rate, very little drama, and a tightly knit group of brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s well worth the hassle.
